This is the homepage for Sassafrass, a musical group performing a cappella, folk and filk music. Here you can find information about us, listen to sample music, and order CDs. Soon we will also offer sheet music, pay downloads, free teaching tools and more.
Eclectic II: Prophecies & Lies is now available on CDBaby; you can purchase physical copies as well as downloading a digital copy of the album. We've asked about making individual tracks available and hopefully that will be an option soon. Eclectic I is also available (for digital download only).
We've always really enjoyed singing Somebody Will and having a room full of people join in at the end. We're making Somebody Will available for download and we'd love to have everyone join us there too. You should download the track and record yourself singing along at the end (using headphones, so you just record yourself) and then email us the sound file. Then we'll edit you in and repost the track, keeping a list of everyone who is singing. (I know that .mp3, .wav, .aif are all okay with Audacity and GarageBand, but if you use a different format I can see if it works.)
